Fees Schedule

Fees outlined below are for Private, Third-party funded (e.g. TAC, Anglicare, VACAA, DHFS) and NDIS self-managed or plan-managed clients. NDIS plan and self-managed clients can use their NDIS Funding for both Early Intervention (Under 7s) and Therapy Supports (Over 7s).  Island Play Therapy aims to keep services accessible for all and is priced well below NDIS fee guidelines for therapeutic services.

We do not provide services to NDIS Agency Managed clients and at this stage Play Therapy cannot be claimed through Mental Health Care plans or Medicare.

  • Initial Parent Intake Consultation - $180

  • Includes 60-90 minutes in person with parent(s)/ carer(s), writing up clinical notes & treatment plans and evaluation of any surveys and assessments provided.

  • Play Therapy Session, Sand Tray Therapy Session, Filial Therapy Session - $150

  • 60 minutes includes 45 minutes in person and 15 minutes for cleaning and writing clinical case notes.

  • Clay Field Therapy® Session - $180

  • Includes 45 minutes in person and 30 minutes for cleaning and writing clinical case notes.

  • Theraplay® Session, Interplay® Session, AutPlay® Session - $180

  • 60 minutes includes 45 minutes in person (with both child and carer) and 15 minutes for cleaning and writing clinical case notes.

  • Consultation Sessions - $150 per hour

  • Includes 30/60/90 minute Parent/Carer Review sessions as required, Professional Meeting attendance and school or kinder observations.

  • Play Assessments & Report Writing (including NDIA) - $150 per hour

  • Prices vary according to length of Assessment & Report.
